In practice for 35 years in the Lehigh Valley. Board certified in foot surgery, sports medicine and wound care. A Penn State graduate where I also played collegiate tennis then Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine. A surgical residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Hospital. residing in Macungie with wife Judi. Proud grandparent as well.

Dr. Mark Maehrer has been with Kramer and Maehrer since 1995. He was born and raised, and currently resides with his family in the Lehigh Valley. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Muhlenberg College and is a proud member of their Athletic Hall of Fame as a Soccer Goalkeeper.

With a Podiatric Medical degree from Temple University, Dr. Maehrer is Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of The American Professional Wound Care Association.

He also specializes in Diabetic Foot Care and Sports Medicine.

Dr. Haverly started with Kramer & Maehrer in July 2007.  Originally from Towanda, PA, Dr. Haverly studied at Juniata College in Huntingdon where he earned a Bachelor of Science in liberal arts with an emphasis in molecular biology.  After Juniata, Dr. Haverly went to podiatry school at Temple University in Philadelphia.  From there he studied for his residency for two years at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, NY, and for one year at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown, PA.  Dr. Haverly enjoys all aspects of podiatric medicine and has a special interest in limb salvage and wound care.

Dr. Cook is the most recent addition to Kramer, Maehrer & Haverly’s team. Originally from the Lehigh Valley, he graduated from Penn State University with a BS in Chemical Engineering. He obtained his Podiatric Medical degree from Temple University, and completed his post-graduate surgical training at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. He is extensively trained in rearfoot, pediatric and complex deformity correction, completing a mini fellowship at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Cook, his wife and son are excited to be back in the Lehigh Valley, close to family and friends.
